What was the challenge?

On August 31, 2022, Alleima became an independent company listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, with its own name and brand. As a global company that has been developing industries through material technology for over 160 years, our goal and purpose remain the same. Building the new Alleima brand requires a clearly defined vision and strong corporate culture, with leadership being crucial for the future. We sought assistance in developing a leadership training program to equip our leaders with the best conditions to guide Alleima towards our common goals.

Why did you choose Doings?

Our decision was based on several factors. Doings interpreted our strategy and presented a solid and feasible leadership training program that could be directly linked to our strategic plan to increase innovation power, strengthen the business, and develop our culture and leadership. All with a clear connection to our history and future. Doings also introduced a structure for our leadership training with an educational foundation and methodology that mixed research-proven theory in online education and physical training sessions.

What was the solution?

The leadership training designed is to be ongoing and cater to 500 global leaders. Being successful in a constantly changing world requires strengthened and developed competencies among our leaders. Basic competencies as well as new abilities and behaviors related to, among other things, ownership of the business and strategy, being innovative, leading in change, and engaging employees. Doings identified the crucial abilities essential for our continued success. These abilities are a clear theme throughout our entire leadership training.

Our tailor-made leadership training is a program being rolled out globally over 4–5 years for 500 leaders.

What were the results?

We continuously measure the effects of our leadership training at four levels: experience, learning, behavior development, and business results. The development and calibration of the program’s content and learning design are ongoing to maximize learning. While it takes time to see the full effects of such an initiative, after just one year, we have received positive feedback from the leadership training that we are very proud of:
