WHAT WAS THE CHALLENGE?
We have a successful history of strong growth. With our sights set on continued growth, we met Doings back in 2017. We wanted to ensure that the organization as well as leaders and employees received the tools and knowledge to continue building a great and stable business and corporate culture, without growing pains.

WHAT WAS THE SOLUTION?
The challenges have varied depending on where we have been on our growth journey. Doings has been by our side all the way. Mainly in the role of sounding board in HR and management matters. But also, with designing and carrying out leadership development as well as our important vision and valuation ​​work.

Working with values is a long journey with no real end, and still ongoing. The work was based on direction, target image and existing strengths. All to identify the most important building blocks for our culture and continued success. Subsequently meaning, behaviors and success factors have been jointly identified with all employees. To really be concretized on a behavioral level and not become vague, the focus has been on doing and experiences. Always with our perhaps most important value of them all in focus: Stay playful.

WHAT WAS THE RESULT?
Together, this has created a shared responsibility and understanding of what we as a company strive for. And how we together create the best possible workplace – and thus also success. Our managers have received clear coaching and tools to develop their leadership. And we have created a greater understanding and buy-in that cultural issues, our vision and values, have great importance in how we as a business deliver.

In an otherwise technology-driven organization, interest in these questions has increased. We have made a shift in that what was previously seen as HR’s responsibility, is now a shared responsibility of everyone in the organization. Our engagement measurements show that the employees feel that we live by our values ​​to a greater degree than before. We are convinced that it is because each individual, with Doing’s help, has contributed to the building of the culture at Quickspin.

Quickspin is a Swedish game developer that creates fun and playful slot machines for online casinos. Their vision is “We create awesomeness”, which they live by in everything they do – in both design and playfulness, but also by taking responsibility in the industry and of course as an employer.
